Signs A Person Has Bulimia

Bulimia nervosa is eating disorder, as seen from the habit of overeating that occurs continuously. Bulimia is an eating disorder that often occurs in women. The disorder is usually a form of self torture. The most frequently performed by more than 75% of people with bulimia nervosa is making herself vomit. Bulimia is a mental disorder, the cause of bulimia is not known biologically.

1. Excessive exercise
Bulimia nervosa is a condition where an individual obsessed with food and body image. Bulimia is characterized by eating lots of food and then regurgitate it back to prevent weight gain. People with bulimia also tend to exercise excessively in order to keep your weight low.
2. Obsession with food
Bulimia nervosa is characterized by a lack of control and eating large amounts of both openly and secretly.
3. Using laxatives
Laxatives are used to immediately get rid of the food out of the body. People with bulimia laxatives thought to prevent the absorption of calories by the intestine.
4. Discoloration of the teeth
The acidic nature of the regurgitated food will damage the teeth, make teeth turn yellow or brown.
5. Weight fluctuates
Bulimia is characterized by cycles of eating and then spit it out so it might be a fluctuating weight.
6. Go to the bathroom after eating
Go to the bathroom immediately after eating can be a sign of someone suffering from bulimia nervosa. Patient to the bathroom to vomit or use laxatives.
