Foods to Avoid For Ulcer Patients


In addition to diet, there are some foods to avoid, if you ulcer patients:

Avoid foods that contain lots of gas
such as grease, mustard greens, cabbage, jack fruit, dried fruit and soft drinks
Avoid foods it stimulates gastric acid
such as coffee, alcoholic beverages 5-20%, white wine and citrus juice
Avoid foods it is difficult to digest
which makes the stomach empty slower eg fatty foods, cake, cheese
Avoid foods which damage the walls of the stomach
such as vinegar, spicy, pepper and herbs which stimulate
Avoid foods that weaken the lower esophageal valve
such as alcohol, chocolate, foods high in fat and fried foods
Avoid multiple sources of carbohydrates
such as glutinous rice, noodles, vermicelli, corn, and cassava
