Food For Eye Health


A healthy eye is ideal for everyone, keep your eyes healthy is not always by visiting an eye doctor regularly. Eat foods that are good for eye health is also one way to keep your eyes to keep it healthy. Here is food for the eyes:

1. Avocado

Eating avocados can lower cholesterol and help fight other diseases. Avocados contain lots of lutein and is rich in vitamin E. Avocados can also increase the levels of other carotenoids in foods. Consuming avocado with spinach and carrots can certainly increase the levels of nutrients that can nourish your eyes.


2. Eggs

Eggs, especially egg yolks provide some nutrients needed for healthy vision. Eating an egg a day can increase the level of lutein and zeaxanthin in the blood of up to 25-30%. Eggs are also good source of vitamins A, B, and zinc.

3. Salmon

Salmon is often referred to as brain food. Whereas vitamin A, D, and omega-3 contained by salmon is not only good for the brain, but also good for the eyes and entire body. Many fish similar to salmon also contain nutrients that are good for brain and eye.

4. Garlic

Garlic may increase the immune system, cure fevers, lower bad cholesterol, even eliminate parasites in the body. Not surprisingly, garlic is also good for eye health.
