Some Foods That Can Protect The Skin From The Damaging Effects Of Solar Radiation


Without realizing it, a lot of food around us is very beneficial for our health, including foods that are good for protecting the skin from damage caused by solar radiation. Although many commercially available products that help maintain health and prevent skin damage. There are some foods that were able to enhance the vitality and protect skin.

1. Orange
Oranges contain a lot of limonene (orange peel extract chemical compounds). According to research from the University of Wisconsin, EGCG is able to stop the genetic damage in human skin caused by excessive exposure to UV rays. In addition, this substance is also useful for inhibit skin cancer cell growth.
3. Carrots, red peppers
Carrots or mixed vegetables and fruits that are red, yellow, and orange contains carotenoids (a substance that gives the red color naturally in vegetables and fruits) are known to reduce the risk of sunburn skin. The content of beta carotene functions as an antioxidant that inhibits premature aging. In addition, these substances are also able to prevent and suppress the growth of cancer cells in the skin.
4. Spinach

5. Salmon
Salmon is the best source of omega-3 fatty acids. The content of omega-3 fatty acids proven efficacious against changes in the DNA of skin cells that will turn into cancer cells. In addition, the oils in fish help reduce problem skin burns.
6. Walnut
Walnuts contain many essential fatty acids omega-3 that helps combat skin sunburn. In addition, walnuts also contain elagik acid and other antioxidants that can protect cells from free radicals and cancer cell growth by strengthening the immune system.
